It seems that Christmas on line shopping may have started a little later this year. Certainly we only noticed a significant seasonal rise beginning in the middle of November, unlike 2011 when the shoppers started at the beginning of November and kept on shopping right through to our last order/lasting shippping dates. This is all well and good if you are buying an off the shelf item you might think you are safe putting off that purchase until a little later but it is still risky as stock can go while you are thinking about purchasing leaving you high and dry at the last moment without that gift you thought would suit.
This year we have given last order dates on every product page and with few exceptions these are final deadlines not be ignored. The one exception we have at the moment is the Jane Woolrich Design last order date which states that orders for UK delivery should be placed by the 12th November but we are still accepting orders as of the 16th on a case by case basis. It may well be that the next Jane Woolrich order we receive will have to have that dreaded "cannot supply for Christmas" email that no one likes sending.
So do shop early for Christmas, especially for the made to order garments, but also for the off the shelf garments - many of which cannot now be restocked in time for a Christmas delivery so you need to buy now to avoid disappointment.
