Severe delays for goods shipping to Canada.

We have received notification that post into Canada is experiencing extended delays due to COVID 19. Because of the increased risk of lost parcels in these circumstances, we will not be shipping to Canada until the situation improves.

We are continuing to ship. We may not always be able to ship on the same day as your order during this difficult period and unfortunately, there are delays in the distribution network which are beyond our control. So please order at the earliest opportunity.  Keep well and keep safe.

How We Send Your Order

  • We ship everything via Royal Mail (see below for costs and timescales)
  • We ship worldwide with few exceptions
  • We use plain wrapping with no mention of the website name


Post & Packaging Charges

UK & Channel Islands

Royal Mail 48 Recorded Delivery - £3.50.  Time from despatch to delivery is approximately 2 working days.

Royal Mail 24 Recorded Delivery - £4.00.  Time from despatch to delivery is usually 1 working day. 

Special Delivery £8.50. Time from despatch to delivery - next working day by 1.0 pm guaranteed by the Royal Mail.

Special Delivery Saturday £12.00 (Not for the Channel Islands). Saturday guaranteed.

Please note, Channel Islands post has to go through Customs and therefore can be delayed. Also delivery to the outer islands can add a day to the delivery time. Please also note that we are obliged to put a Customs declaration on the outside of the packet. Lastly, for Channel Island orders, our system automatically strips out the VAT only if you enter Guernsey or Jersey as the country destination.


Airmail £5.50. Time from despatch to delivery is usually 3 to 5 days depending on destination.

Rest of the World including non-EU European Countries

Airmail from £6.75. Timescale usually 5 to 10 working days but can be longer due to Customs inspections and local service levels. We offer Royal Mail Airmail because it is the least expensive service and usually meets most customer requirements. We do not offer courier delivery as standard because it is more expensive and can actually delay the despatch of an order but if you are in a hurry and would like to know the cost of a courier delivery please contact us.

Despatching your order...

Always check the estimated despatch information provided at the checkout.

Despatch varies depending on where our stock is warehoused or if the lingerie you have ordered is being made for you. The estimated despatch for each product is shown when you put the item in the cart and is repeated in the cart and also on your order confirmation email.

Many of our items are available for same day despatch (Monday to Friday) if the order is placed before 12 noon UK time.

If your order includes a mix of remotely warehoused or made to order items with same day despatch items we will consolidate to the longest estimated despatch time. So if you require the same day despatch items quickly we recommend placing a separate order for those items.

Made-to-measure and made to order items are usually despatched within a timeline of 14 to 28 days but at peak times such as the run into Christmas and Valentines Day it can take a longer. Please note Jane Woolrich Design bespoke lingerie and nightwear can take up to 6 weeks to be despatched at really busy times.

How will the order be sent?

UK - Royal Mail Recorded Delivery unless Special Delivery has been selected - all require a signature on receipt.

EU & Worldwide - Royal Mail - Airmail, (tracked and or signed for)

You will be sent a despatch confirmation email when we ship your order and it contains a tracking number. Please take a note of that so that you can check your order if it has not arrived within the expected time. The confirmation of despatch email also includes information you may need if you decide to return an item.

All parcels and packets are very plainly wrapped with no exterior branding. Only the company name, Crysalis Ltd, and the return address is shown on the outside of UK and EU orders.

Customer Special Instructions

We are sometimes given specific delivery instructions, such as "if I am out, please leave in the shed". Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to pass these instructions through to international post services and as most of our deliveries require a signature leaving the parcel is not possible. If the post person tries to deliver when you are out they should leave a card and you will be able to arrange a re-delivery or collection.

Worldwide Shipping

We ship worldwide.  So whether you are in the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, China, South Africa, the Middle East, Europe or Russia we can and will ship to you and most of the other countries in between.

Sometimes you will find that it is actually less costly to buy from us and pay the extra shipping cost and local taxation than to buy in your own territory. This is particularly true for customers in the USA. Just check our net of VAT prices (reduce product price by 20%) against a locally based supplier and you may be surprised at how much you can save. Currently, we find the following brands are the best bargains, Lola Luna, Luxxa and Axami for USA customers.

The default pricing on the site is GB Pound but you can see an approximate cost in other currencies using the alternative currency setting which can be found at the top next to the search bar.  Please note that there can be exchange rate fluctuations and costs imposed by your card company which are outside our control, so the estimated price you see on the site may be slightly different when you come to pay.

VAT and International Orders

All our prices are inclusive of VAT, which is chargeable in all European Community countries. The UK VAT rate (currently 20%) may differ from other EU regions.

However, if you are a customer from outside the EU, you do not pay VAT and when you place your order you will see the price in the check out will change to a lower amount when you have entered the delivery address as the system then recognises you are outside the EU and deducts the 20% VAT.

There may be taxes payable in your own territory, which may be charged when the lingerie arrives in your country and we have no control over this. If you want to know what this is likely to be before you order we suggest that you contact your local Customs Authority for further information.
